After months of indecision (double hung or casement, grids all over or just the top, maybe no grids at all, Pella or Marvin) we finally ordered our windows! The only thing we knew from the get go was that we wanted wood not vinyl. The price was better at Pella but the service and options were far, far superior at Marvin. Ok, lemmie show you what we got!
We have gridless double hung throughout most of the house:
A double casement in the kitchen above the sink:
And glue chip (obscured) glass for the windows at the top/bottom of steps and in the bathroom (I love how it looks like vines!):
