Our Arborist came out and did a first round of grading which included:
(1) installation of underground piping to allow rain water to flow to the back of the property...
(see the pipe on the right-it connects to the gutter then goes underground)
(and pops out in the back of the yard)
(2) creation of gentle slopes to help move water away from the house...
(3) and removal of the porch
The next move is to have the entire foundation repointed. The arborist will then come back out and build the soil up against the house!
