We are thinking these creamy, velvety curtains throughout the house will tie things together nicely. Plus, the contrast of the plush curtains with the distressed floors might be pret-ty cool.

Wow!!! Almost time to move in!

Updates....!

In order to achieve a starry night sky look on our bedroom ceiling we decided to get something with a bit more sparkle than the chandelier wed previously picked. We chose this guy:

Our new roof, which is being installed as we speak (yay!), is a greyish/brownish TL, random tab design. TL means triple layer which "provides a dramatically thick roofing product styled with the classic appeal of wood shakes." Random tab design means "random and unique natural shadows gives luxurious dimensional character to the shingles." Cool!

Kitchen/bathroom appliances are trickling in-should all be installed by the end of the week (except our fridge which wont be here for a few more weeks).

The countertop folks will come out for the template this week. Not sure how long until the counters are installed but no kitchen sink/dishwasher hook up until then. Handwashing dishes is bad enough but having to handwash them in the bathtub...ugh! Hahah, well live ;)

Bad news: no more landscape work can be done until the Spring. Sorry, neighbors, for our eyesore!!!
